If your child is playing TbxIdle, this page is the short version of what that means. It is written to be read once, in five minutes, without a lawyer.

What the game is

A fantasy role-playing game that runs in a web browser. The player builds a character, sets rules for how it fights, and the game plays those rules out; including while the browser is closed. There is nothing to install.

What is in it

• Violence: cartoon-style combat against monsters, drawn in small pixel art. Blows show a splash of red and a number. There is no gore, no realistic depiction of injury and no real-world weaponry.
• Player versus player: two players can agree to a duel in an arena. It is never forced on anybody.
• No gambling, no loot boxes and no random-reward purchases of any kind.
• Chat with strangers: yes; see below. This is the part worth your attention.

The game is not formally rated by a ratings board. If it were, we would expect it to sit around the same place as other fantasy-combat games: fine for older children, with the chat as the reason to look.

Age

Our Terms set a minimum age of 13. Under the age of majority where you live, a child may use the game only with your consent; and you can withdraw it at any time by asking us to close the account.

Talking to other players

There are two public rooms and private messages. The public rooms have a delay between messages, enforced by the server, which keeps any account from flooding them with spam. Nothing said is stored: the server keeps only the most recent lines, in memory. That also means a report is far easier to act on with a screenshot.

Our Game Rules forbid harassment, sexual content involving minors, scams and sharing personal information, and accounts are closed for them. Report anything of the sort by email to [email protected].

Money

The game is free. The only thing sold is premium coins, bought with Pix through a payment provider; there is no subscription that renews on its own, and no purchase can happen without somebody completing a payment in their bank app. Coins can also be earned in the game by trading with other players for in-game gold, so a child who is not spending money is not shut out of anything.

Practical advice: do not leave a payment method available on a device a child uses unattended. If a purchase was made without your permission, write to us; the Refund Policy gives seven days to cancel any purchase, no reason needed.

Time

This is an idle game: the character progresses whether or not anybody is watching, which genuinely means there is no reward for sitting in front of it for hours. Hunting stamina runs out after twelve hours and the character walks home on its own. If you want a limit, the honest one is your device's own screen-time controls.

Data

We store an account name, a password (only ever as a hash), an optional email address and the game progress itself. We set no advertising cookies and no third-party trackers. The full picture is in the Privacy Policy, written to Brazil's LGPD.

Closing an account

Email [email protected] and we will close it and delete its data, keeping only what tax law obliges us to keep about a purchase. Individual characters can also be deleted from the character-select screen inside the game, which cannot be undone.
