FAQ
Questions people actually ask
Is TbxIdle free to play?
Yes. You create an account and play in your browser at no cost. Premium time and cosmetic extras are optional, and premium coins can also be traded from other players for in-game gold on the coin market.
Is TbxIdle a Tibia idle game for the browser?
That is the idea. It is an idle browser game inspired by Tibia and Open Tibia (OT) servers: Tibia-style vocations, spells, creatures, hunts and economy, except that you configure the character instead of clicking, and it hunts on its own. It is not an OT server or an official product, and it is not affiliated with CipSoft, the company behind Tibia.
Do I have to download anything?
No. TbxIdle runs in the browser; there is no client to install and no patch day. It works on a phone or tablet held sideways as well as on a desktop.
Does my character really keep playing when I close the tab?
Yes. Progress while you are away is replayed through the same engine that runs the live game, so the experience, loot, supplies burnt and any death are what would have happened had you been watching. The hunt stops on its own when hunt stamina, supplies, carry capacity or your own gold limit runs out.
If it plays itself, what do I actually do?
You build the auto-pilot. Which heal fires at which health percentage, which spell goes off with at least how many creatures in the wave, which stance you hold, which ammunition you feed the bow, how many creatures to pull at once, and which cave to walk into. That configuration is the game.
Which vocations can I play?
Knight, Paladin, Sorcerer, Druid and Monk. You pick one when you create a character, and it decides your weapon, your spell ladder and your stance. Your account is global, so you can keep characters of every vocation.
Can I play with friends?
Yes. There is a confirmed friends list, parties of up to four hunting one cave together, a player market, a mailbox for sending items, and an arena where two players duel for a staked pot.
What does premium give me?
More experience, a second prey slot and a third task slot, a shorter loot-dispatch cooldown, the higher imbuement tiers, and the classic premium outfits while it lasts. It is a timed account state, not a permanent unlock.
What happens when my character dies?
It wakes up in the town hub with full health and mana, and pays the game's own death bill: a share of experience and of every skill, plus 5% of the gold carried. Active blessings take 8% off that bill each, and are used up by the death they softened. Dying offline costs exactly the same.
